A thoughtful agreement.
These terms set the ground rules for using Memoring. They are written to be clear about the service, your responsibilities, and what you can expect from us.
Using Memoring & authentication
You may create an account using direct registration or supported third-party single sign-on services such as Google Sign-In. When using third-party authentication, you authorize us to access your basic account identifier, name, and email address in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You may use Memoring to capture your personal ideas, thoughts, tasks, and reminder schedules for lawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, third-party authentication access, and for all activity conducted through your account.
AI transcription & synthesized outputs
Memoring utilizes automated speech-to-text recognition and language models to transcribe audio and synthesize unstructured voice captures into actionable tasks and deadlines. While we aim for high accuracy across diverse speech patterns, AI processing is inherently probabilistic and may occasionally misinterpret words, times, or intent. You are encouraged to review critical deadlines and reminder details.
Device permissions & reminder reliability
Memoring is designed to function across online and offline environments. Delivering proactive, phone-like reminder calls and alerts requires specific operating system permissions—including microphone access, notifications, display-over-other-apps (appear on top), and exact alarms.
Revoking required permissions, aggressive third-party battery savers, system-level Do Not Disturb settings, or extreme network conditions may prevent timely reminder delivery. While the service is engineered for maximum reliability, we cannot guarantee delivery under all external operating conditions.
Audio retention & 24-hour purge
To protect your privacy, raw voice recordings uploaded for processing are stored securely on our servers and permanently deleted within 24 hours once transcription and task generation are complete. Resulting text tasks, summaries, and reminder records remain securely saved in your account until you delete them.
Respectful use
Do not use Memoring to record or process audio or content that you do not have the legal right or consent to capture, or to harass, impersonate, defraud, or violate the privacy and rights of others. You must comply with all applicable local, state, and international laws.
Account termination & deletion
You retain full ownership of your data and may request account deletion at any time directly through the mobile application (Profile → Menu → Delete Account). Submitted deletion requests follow a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel by logging back in, after which all personal data (including linked Google authentication records) is permanently purged from our database within 90 days. Changes to the service
We may update, enhance, or adjust features of Memoring as the platform evolves. If a change materially alters your rights or obligations under these terms, we will provide appropriate notice through the application or website.
